Susan Sheldon Vice President/Director ssheldon@nwbank.com Susan has worked as a trust officer in the Traverse City area since 1988. Her background includes estate planning to avoid probate and minimize taxes, as well as investment management. Prior to moving to Traverse City she was a tax analyst with the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. An honors graduate of Grand Valley University, she is a member of the Zonta and Economic Clubs of Traverse City. Susan is the lead host for WTCM-AM’s Everybody’s Planning Hour, a weekly call-in talk radio show. She has volunteered her time for fund-raising efforts on behalf of Northwestern Michigan College and Zonta Festival of Trees. |

Before joining Northwestern he served as vice president and senior private banker for another local financial institution. He is a Rotarian, a member of the Community Action Team for Michigan Youth Opportunity Initiative and Jim Casey Youth Opportunity Initiative, and serves on the steering committee of the the Northwest Michigan Poverty Reduction Initiative. |
